COVID-19 Volunteer Information
The health and safety of both Volunteers and Staff is of the upmost importance.
The following information is provided as a general guide, further information and directives can be found online at the Department of Health and Human Services.
As we live with COVID-19, we can continue to protect ourselves, our loved ones and at-risk Victorians. Follow these simple steps to help prevent severe illness and reduce the spread of the virus in our community.
Let Fresh Air In
You are less likely to catch COVID-19 in well areas that are well ventilated.
Wear a face mask indoors
Wearing a face mask in indoor settings helps protect yourself and others.
Get tested if unwell
Get tested as soon as you notice any symptoms and isolate for at least 5 days and up to 7 days (depending on your symptoms) if you are COVID-19 positive.

Managing COVID-19 at home
Managing COVID-19 at home when you have milder symptoms is safe and appropriate, and ensures hospital beds are kept free for people who are seriously unwell and need urgent medical treatment. To find out more information click here.
Get medicines if at risk
If you’re at a higher risk of severs illness from COVID-19, you may be eligible for medicines that reduce service illness. Plan ahead and discuss options with your local GP.
The following procedures are for the safety of everyone:
If you are feeling unwell, do not got to the studio, stay at home and get tested. If you require further assistance, call 1800 675 398.
Maintain good personal hygiene practices and use the supplied hand sanitiser on arrival at both studios (Lakes Entrance and Bairnsdale).
Maintain at least a 1.5m distance between you and others whilst at either studio (Lakes Entrance or Bairnsdale).
All presenters are supplied with personal microphone sock (contact the Bairnsdale studio for further information).
At the end of each program, presenters must wipe down and sanitise work areas with the provided cleaning products.
